VARADIS IN SPACE

Trusted for radiation measurement on the world's most critical missions.

OUR MISSION TO KEEP SPACE SAFE

The scale to which the space industry is growing is at a level never seen before.

Satellite manufacturing, once a function of only the largest aerospace companies, is now becoming a lucrative and accessible industry to both start-ups and established corporations globally.

Although difficult to put an exact number on it, research suggests that of the approximate 15,000 ‘space companies’ across the world in 2024, nearly 3,000 are focused on satellite manufacturing processes.

Cheaper components, reusable launch systems, and major investment from government organizations all havel been catalysts to this growth.

With some research suggesting that by 2035 we could see over 100,000 satellites in space, never has it been more important to integrate radiation detection technology into the satellites being designed and built today.

Our technology empowers you to identify damaged components early and, if required, take action to resolve or potentially safely maneuver the satellite to a safe orbit.

In fact, with the increase in space traffic and the advent of space tourism we believe this capability, in the future, may become a regulatory requirement.

We’re honored to already work with some of the globe’s largest space exploration organizations to address this pressing need.

“Varadis RADFET technology is a crucial tool for the design and iteration of space hardware. Its ability to verify on-orbit doses and validate shielding design makes them an invaluable asset for any manufacturer looking to improve decision making, iterate designs and build more resilient spacecraft.”
